This Sunday we honour our dads on Fathers’ Day. Research is showing more clearly than ever the essential place of fathers in the family (cf. thefatheringproject.org). Science has confirmed that mothering and fathering are distinct phenomena which are not interchangeable. However, they complement each other marvellously for the well-being of the child.
